We are just finishing the Madrid bus tour around 4:00 pm , in this video we see the bus arriving at the plaza Catalunya, where you will find the Hard Rock Cafe the store Corte Ingles and Banco de Espana building. Street La Rambla. We walked from our hotel just down La Rambla street to take the tour earlier in the day and made the round trip around the red route which covers the historical southern part, later in the evening we took the blue route, which covers the northern part of Madrid. The plaza as usual was very crowded by tourists waiting for a bus. This is the stop for the airport bus which goes to the Madrid airport and drops you at the Plaza Catalunya. The bus stops running early evening, so be sure to schedule your tour with plenty of time to finish where you need to get off. Early in the morning we had taken the train from the underground level at the plaza to the beach, some 20 minutes away, the beach is just a few meters away from the train stop. Very convenient and practical way to get to the beach and to the airport. To see the Sagrada Familia church we took the metro which stops very close to the church. Website: www.aviewoncities.com The weather in the middle of July was very hot, and you have to drink a lot of water frequently due to the heat, which was around 39 degrees centigrade. for a map of Madrid see: w20.bcn.cat
