7. Waterfall El Salto
Located between the best tourist places of Pinal de Amoles and that we cannot leave out of our trip, is the waterfall, El Salto.
To reach the waterfall El Salto it is necessary to go down 359 steps, which is considered a challenge and an adventure; The area is full of ferns, large poplar, and moss trees.
The waterfall is, from approximately, 35 meters, so at the end of the descent, a pool of crystalline and freshwater is formed that is more than 15 meters in diameter, in addition to many small waterfalls.
8. Former Bucareli Convent
Among the historic tourist sites of Pinal de Amoles, this building is located that bears a strong resemblance to a medieval castle, located in the middle of the mountains. Its construction dates from 1896.
Upon entering the site, two ornate courtyards with archery elements and a water fountain are observed, as well as cells and unfinished construction of a large church.
Its founders were Franciscan priests from the province of San Pedro and San Pablo de Michoacán.
Inside the same building are some works from 1868, some of which were demolished to build the former Bucareli Convent that we see today, and only one chapel and a sacristy or dressing room remain standing.
In the place, more than 450 copies of treatises of theology are kept, written entirely in Latin.
Likewise, the former Bucareli Convent contains a space destined for museology, which stores a good part of the historical heritage of the place. There is part of a past full of light and splendor, ready to be shared with visitors.
9. Camp Las Trancas
In this fabulous camp, you can live diverse experiences and for all tastes. It is located in a quiet area, full of beauty and nature. Taking it as a base, you can explore and know some of the special places that Pinal de Amoles has.
It is a unique place to observe the magnificence and beauty of the sky. And if you want some more action, you can go mountain biking through the Gotera Canyon or go hiking.
You can meet a fabulous cave full of pillars formed by stalactites and stalagmites attached. If you like the zip line, you can throw yourself and make the return crossing a suspension bridge in a canyon that is more than 60 meters high.
It is possible to practice rappelling or explore nearby canyons and basements, or maybe cycling from the Quebradora to Bucareli and return to the camp.

10. Bucareli Camp

In the center of the cave, we find a kind of rock, which can be climbed to access the views of cliffs that resemble piles with cold water. There is also a pulpit-like rock and then a bell tower, which receives this name for the sound it generates, similar to that of a bell, when it receives a blow.
