A Reed in China – China 0

Apparently Beijing’s smog somehow gets a lot better in the fall (maybe they should consider pushing the Olympics back a month or so…).  Which means the weather is beautiful right now–a little on the chilly side (fall here lasts about one month then plummets right to winter), but the skies are blue and gorgeous. So, some pictures of the first actual Beijing sunset I’ve been able to admire, taken from the tiny balcony on my floor (officially a clothes drying area):

We are envious of your total experiences in China. Glad your trip worked out okay and you were not sold into white slavery by the black taxi cab driver.
