Copenhagen Chronicles – Denmark 0

Hi everybody. I am feeling much better. I have mastered many trains and busses now. Hooray. We went on a field trip to two churches this week, and the Museum for Applied Arts which has the most amazing collection of furniture I’ve ever seenAlso, my school has a sweet collection of original classic chairs ranging from Charles Eames to Mies Van D Rohe. I knowthat probably means nothing to you guys, but I’m a nerd about these things. Today we had an eight hour lecture, andmeasured chairs, and drew them. Thursday we leave on our study tour that takes us to Sweden and Finland. Also I hung with Danish students yesterday at my kolligium, and only understood about 50% of what was said. It was great. Also Iwent grocery shopping which was harder than I expected. Who knew that it was so hard to figure out what is milk, and what is butter. Its like going shopping for the first time all over again. Tonight there was a welcome party for all of us, and I made lots of new friends. This is really great. Its been raining for 3 days straight, so tomorrow I go shopping for golloshes, and a slicker.

Hey Maya…I can’t tell you how jealous I am that you get to have this incredible experience, it has to be exciting to see furniture other than the stuff at ID! I always wanted to do the “furniture” thing but this “Interiors” thing has gotten in the way, I guess I will have to live my dream out through you. Take some great pictures and throw them on here, dying to see what your seeing. Everyone is cool at ID, things have really stepped up…..we miss you! Stay cool and stay in touch. Greg

Hi Maya! I hope you feel better soon! Something that is very easy to find in Europe (I usually stock up when I’m over there because it is much cheaper there than in the US) is Boiron Oscillococcinum, which is a homeopathic remedy for colds and flu. It works great! Power on, girl! Looking forward to seeing some pictures and hearing more. cc
