Still in the Caspar Bay area …. still continuing to see sunny, great weather (about 16-20 C each day).   People are starting to come into the camping area and abalone diving – each weekend.  They’re allowed 3 in their possession, whether at home, freezer or whatever and heavy fines if caught poaching or scuba diving for them – only free diving allowed & they have to record the exact time they get the abalone.  The largest one we’ve heard of was at a kayak shop, measuring just under 12 “.   A group of seniors (approx 6 couples) camped right in our midst, having a blast for a week …. decorated tables with pirate theme tonight, complete with skeleton glasses, napkins, campfire (although, they have electric heaters in the ‘dining’ tent. Apparently this is a 15 year tradition & all went to school together.  The table setting (I saw some photos of previous years) would put Martha Stewart to shame!

Familiar sight here …. turkey vultures.

Just how I feel today!
