Everest Gokyo Lakes

Is Everest replaceable? The answer is no. Even the word Everest cannot be replaced by some other words. When you reach the base of Everest, you see the world’s highest mountain looming over you. This site creates one of the emotive feelings that you don’t know how to describe exactly. The feeling of happiness overpowers you. Here, everything is obvious, and you are in reality that is you stand before the world’s highest peak, only a few have stood. The ageless Everest hits the bull’s eyes, as well as creates the flood of memories. Everest is not just the world’s highest mountain; it connects to the world through a trekking trail. You may not be a trekker, but Everest always sees you as a trekker.

There are several trekking trails that you can follow to reach the base of Everest, but the best is Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek. As you head to Namche, there are hundreds of trekkers, and you wade through suspension bridges, Sherpa villages, glancing at the mountain, such as Mt. Khumbila (18900 ft). If the weather permits, you will have the beautiful view of Mount Everest (8848 m), Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kongde. The view can be best had through binoculars from the Everest View Hotel.

There are many natural viewpoints in the Everest Region, but the most favorite one of the trekking guides is Gokyo Ri. Just take off some time from the itinerary and soak up the beautiful view of Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse (8516 m) and Makalu (8481 m) from this viewpoint.
