Met the group at 6am this morning and we headed off to the Great Wall – first encounter with a squat toilet! Walked for 4 hours, with these locals following us ALL the way trying to sell us water and postcards – pretty persistent people, hats off to them!

Met some NY policemen along the way (or so they said) – but with the exception of the odd lonely trekker it was completely deserted- fanctastic photos, stil trying to work out how to resize them cos theyr’e too big to upload at the mo! (pesky technology)

Back in Beijing we went out to a restaurant for Peking Duck (YUM!!!!!!!!!) and then past the Olympic countdown plaque to Tianeman sq (its big.)
