PERMANENT LOCATION: Minneapolis, MN
WHERE ARE YOU GOING: Around the World in 90 odd days; Minneapolis to London, up into Scotland, over to the Netherlands, through Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, and Italy all via Eurail, hop on over to Greece, fly from Athens to Cairo where we’ll hook up with a Canandian tour group for a nine day trek through the desert and down the Nile, then we’ll fly from Cairo to Thailand where we’ll backpack all over Thailand, up to Chang Mai down to Phuket back to Bangkok then we fly to Cairns,Australia and road trip down the east coast to Sydney, fly to Christchurch, NZ explore the South Island, then the North Island of New Zealand and finally stop off in Fiji for a week of lying motionless on a white sandy beach before heading home via L.A. Wow.
WHEN ARE YOU GOING: May 20th to September 5, 2006
REASONS FOR TRAVELING: This is our alternative wedding. Instead of spending all of your dough on one day, why not make it really count and go on a trip of a lifetime.

In Crystal Rose’s bag:1 pair of flip flops,1 pair of heels, 1 pair of sneakers, 3 skirts, 1 pair of jeans, 1 pair of capris, 1 pair of shorts, 2 pairs of gaucho sweats, 6 shirts, 1 hoodie, 4 tank tops, 1 bikini, 2 pairs of socks, minimal underwear, 1 head scarf, 1 bandana, 1 hat, 2 necklaces, homemade sleepsack, & my Smushy (fav pillow makes sleep possible on a pile of rocks if necessary; might share Smushy with Ryan), 1 towel, 1 wash cloth,
In Ryan’s Bag: 3 hats, flip flops, New Balances, bandana, 1pair of jeans, 3 pairs of shorts, board shorts, quick-dry zip-off khaki pants/shorts, 3 t-shirts, 2 long-sleeved t-shirts, 1 button down shirt, Chicago Cubs Hoodie, Flannel PJ pants, high tech socks, anti-microbial underwear, sleepsack, 1 towel, 1 wash cloth
Also Taking: Travel Scrabble, First Aid Kit, aspirin, hand sanitizer, prescription for Adavan so CR can fly without freaking out, some kind of prescribed pills for diarrhea/ salmonella, bug spray with DEET for our Nile river trek and Thai Jungle hikes, anti-itch cream, sunscreen, shampoo/conditioner, razors (though Ryan isn’t planning on shaving until we get to Greece), Dove soap, deoderant, CR’s just the essentials make-up bag, Lotion, Woolite, ten ziplock bags & 2 garbage bags for wet/dirty clothes, leftover food etc. 1 folder with important documents
