We spent the morning exploring around Quito, mostly on Avenudo de las Amazonas- a tourist avenue that runs across Quito. We went into a couple of churches and had our first look at Ecuadorian crafts. In the afternoon, we went to the airport to pick up Daylin. When the group went to Otavalo, Daylin and I decided to stay in Quito with Andrew and his family for the night. We went out to dinner and went around Quito with Andrew and his friend Stephan to an area know by locals as Gringoland. This area is completely detached from the rest of Ecuador. It is a placei try to avoid, in fear of forgeting the true essence of Ecuador.
