Just take off some time from the itinerary and soak up the beautiful view of Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse (8516 m) and Makalu (8481 m) from this viewpoint. As you stand by Gokyo Lake, you will be lost in its eternal beauty. Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek also combines Kalapathar. You have to reach the top of Kalapathar early in the morning.
