On week # 3 we went to La Paz
You will find some of our pictures and some pictures I found on the Internet.
Following is a little historic of La Paz.
La Paz means, Peace, is the capital city of the Mexican state of Baja California Sur.
The Baja California being divided in 2 the North and the South the division is: at Guerrero Negro
Baja_California_Sur an important regional commercial center, but Tourism is the main revenue.
The city had a 2010 census population of 215,178 people,
La_Paz,_Baja_California_Sur metropolitan population is somewhat larger because of surrounding towns such as el Centenario, el Zacatal and San Pedro. Its surrounding municipality which is the fourth-largest municipality in Mexico in geographical size, reported a population of 251,871 persons living on a land area of 20,275 km2 (7,828 sq mi).
La Paz was first inhabited by Neolithic at least 10,000 years ago who left traces of their existence in the form of rock paintings near the city and throughout the Baja California Peninsula
On May 3, 1535, Hernán Cortés arrived in the bay by La Paz and named it Santa Cruz; he attempted to start a colony but abandoned his efforts after several years due to logistical problems.
In 1596 Sebastián Vizcaíno arrived, giving the area its modern name, La Paz.
La Paz is featured in the John Steinbeck The Pearl (1947) and mentioned extensively in his travelogue The Log from the Sea of Cortez (1951).
The city is also the setting of the children’s novel The Black Pearl (1967) by Scott O’Dell, chosen as a Newbery Honor Book in 1968.
Climate
La Paz has a desert climate. The climate of La Paz is typically dry, warm and sunny with a year around average of between 75 and 91 °F.
Summer months (July–September) are typically between 93 and 97 °F and can be humid.
The winter months (December–February) are the coldest with temperatures dropping below 59 °F at night, but mostly maxima are from 68 to 77 °F.
Breezes from Bahía de La Paz moderate the temperature. The bay also acts as a barrier against seasonal storms in the Gulf of California
Rainfall is minimal at most times of year, although erratic downpours can bring heavy rains. Rain tends to be concentrated in a short, slightly rainier season that peaks in August and September, following the pattern of the North American Monsoon
The driest season, where it is common to have no rain, occurs March through June. La Paz averages over 300 days of sunshine annually and it’s known to be very hot in the summer.
During the summer the cooling Coromuel winds, a weather phenomenon unique to the La Paz area, blow during the night from the Pacific over the Peninsula and into the Bay of La Paz.
As with most of the Gulf of California, the temperature of the water changes substantially over the course of the year, with temperatures around 68 °F during winter and around 85 °F during summer.
For Now we are June 14 and the weather is just delicious not very humid. After breakfast I went to swim with Chouchou who is learning how to Surf soon you will get those pictures and more.

J’ai mis des photos que nous avons faites ainsi que d’autres trouvées sur le Net
Ce qui suit est un peu d’histoire sur La Paz.
La Paz qui signifie Paix est la Capitale de l’état de Baja California Sur.
La Baja California étant divisée a Guerrero Negro en 2 le Nord et le Sud
Baja_California_Sur vit surtout du Tourisme , mais possède des activités commerciales.
Lors du recensement de 2010 la population etait de 215,178 habitants.
Mais la population avec les villes des alentours comme el Centenario, el Zacatal et San Pedro
Represente: 251,871 La municipalité de La Paz représente la 4 plus grande municipalité du Mexique large de
20,275 km2 .
Il y a 10,000 ans La Paz etait habitée par les Néolithique dont on retrouve la trace sous forme de peintures sur les roches sur toute la Péninsule de Baja California.

Climat
La Paz possède un climat désertique. Le climat est sec, chaud et ensoleille avec une moyenne de température de entre 24 et 33 °C.
L’été de {juillet a Septembre}la température monte entre 34 et 36 °C est peut être humide. L’hiver de (Décembre a Février) elle peut descendre la nuit jusqu’a 15 °C
Mais la moyenne est entre 20 et 25 °C une brise venant de la Baie emmène une température modérée.
La Baie sert aussi de barrière aux tempêtes saisonnières du Golf de Californie.
La pluie est minime la plus grande partie de l’année, de temps a autre des grosses averses qui semblent se concentrer entre août et Septembre selon le pattern de la Mousson de l’Amérique du Nord.
La saison la plus sèche se situe entre Mars et Juin.
La Paz en moyenne a 300 jours de soleil est très chaud en Eté surtout Juillet et Septembre.
En Eté durant la nuit les vents “Coromuel” venant du Pacifique afin de rafraîchir la température, dans la Baie de La Paz, un phénomène unique a La Paz La température de la mer de Cortez varie de 68 a 85 selon les saisons.

Maintenant nous sommes mi Juin est la température extérieure et de la mer est juste délicieuse peu d’humidité. Apres le petit déjeuner je vais me baigner avec Chouchou qui apprend a faire du Surf, bientôt je vais mettre ces photos ainsi que plein d’autres sur le Blog.

J’ai horreur des gens qui me disent, quand j’ai un problème d’ordinateur ou que je ne comprend pas quelques chose,
“C’est pourtant si facile” non seulement ils me frustrent plus, et en plus je me sens encore plus idiote. Ce n’est hélas pas donne a tous le monde d’être un bon proff. surtout un qui ne soit pas
abusif.
